It was a mess and I'd been really down about it for over 12 months, since the SMP treatment was carried out. I assumed it was always going to be like that and that I'd never be able to fix it. I just hoped that people didn't pick up on it or make fun. It's not good to have those thoughts running through your head all the time!The treatment was essentially about removing the ink that had been etched in too heavy at the 'widows peak' area. It looked unnatural, it was also off-centre and was disconnected to the rest of the impressions on the head. There was dermal staining in that area too, due to the ink going in too deep.So I had the treatment with Hannah. We worked out what needed to be done. Initially, some impressions that were placed quite far away from the hairline were removed with the laser. SMP artists sometimes do those impressions to create a naturalness but it can very easily look quite odd. In my opinion, I had some strange ones.We then drew on the shape for the hairline. It was sticking with the hairline but removing the impressions that didn't look right, in the widows peak area. Everything below the line was then skilfully removed with the laser and the dermal staining has also gone. It now looks much better, exactly how I wanted it. The hairline looks natural. It still has a softness to it, with a couple of natural irregularities that a normal hairline would have.I am absolutely over the moon with it!
