Breast Reduction & Uplift
Breast Reduction & Uplift Surgery
Breast reduction & uplift is a combined cosmetic procedure designed to reduce the size and weight of the breasts and uplift their natural position. A breast uplift typically includes changing both the contour and elevation of the breasts for those that are unhappy with how they naturally hang. This can be combined with a breast reduction surgery for those that are unhappy with the size of their natural breasts.
Why get a breast reduction & uplift?
There are a number of reasons as to why a woman might be considering a breast reduction & uplift, here are a few of the most common reasons:
- The size of your natural breast impacts daily life
- You are not happy with how your breasts naturally hag and they appear to sag
- Factors incl. ageing, weight loss/gain or breastfeeding have impacted the look of your breasts
Whatever your reasons are for considering a breast reduction & uplift, we're here to help. Your breast reduction & uplift procedure will be carried out in our CQC registered clinic by our Medical Director; Dr George Filobbos who is an esteemed Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon.
Breast Reduction & Uplift Surgical Procedure
Breast reduction is a cosmetic procedure that typically involves the surgeon making an incision into the breast area to remove any excess tissue, skin and fat. For the uplift part the surgeon will then begin to reshape and lift the breasts, and reposition the nipple placement. Leaving you with a breast shape that feels smaller and without hang or sag.
This procedure is done under sedation, on a day basis and typically takes a few hours to complete. Following the surgery you will be taken into our onsite recovery room where you will be monitored by our Nurse and allowed to rest before being free to go home on the same day.
Is a boob reduction & uplift a safe procedure?
There are risks associated with all cosmetic procedures and these will be outlined to you thoroughly during your consultation. We do take the safety of our patients and staff extremely importantly here at Victoria House Clinic and our registration with the CQC confirms this is a safe environment and we are authorised to carry out the procedures we offer.
