Breast enlargement, also referred to as a boob job is a cosmetic procedure which involves augmentation of the breasts. The procedure involves implants being added into natural breasts to increase their size and enhance the shape. It's an extremely common cosmetic procedure and one we are pleased to be offering here at Victoria House Clinic.

Breast Enlargement Surgical Procedure
Breast enlargement is a cosmetic procedure that involves the surgeon making an incision beneath the breast, before creating a pocket for the implant to be placed into, which will either be under the chest muscle or behind the breast tissue.
This procedure is done under sedation, on a day basis and typically takes around 2 hours to complete. Following the surgery you will be taken into our onsite recovery room where you will be monitored by our Nurse and allowed to rest before being free to go home on the same day.
Are boob jobs safe?
There are risks associated with all cosmetic procedures and these will be outlined to you thoroughly during your consultation. We do take the safety of our patients and staff extremely importantly here at Victoria House Clinic and our registration with the CQC confirms this is a safe environment and we are authorised to carry out the procedures we offer.

Breast Enlargement FAQ
This is a same day procedure, meaning after time in our recovery room you will be free to go home. You should however plan for up to two weeks off work following the procedure and other restrictions on lifestyle incl. exercise. All of this will be explained during your consultation.
Results following breast enlargement surgery are not immediate as your body needs time to recover from the surgery. Typically final results should be visible around 12 weeks post surgery.
The results of a boob job are not permanent and can be dependent on a number of factors and how your body reacts to the implants. The results following a boob job can last up to ten years depending on a few factors. All of this will be explained to you during your consultation.
We will spend time with you during your consultation to understand what you are unhappy with and what you would like to achieve. We can then guide you on which procedures will help you achieve the look you want.
