A lipoma grows under your skin and is a fatty lump of tissue. They are typically soft to touch but can in some cases also appear firm. They are usually harmless but you should always get an unexplained lump on your body examined by a medical professional.

Excision Removal
The method we use for the removal of a lipoma is excision. This method is commonly used to remove a lipoma from different areas of the body. During the process the Dr will make an incision over the lipoma and it is removed from under the skin. The wound will then be stitched together leaving a fine line scar.
There are many areas on the body where a lipoma might appear. We can help remove a lipoma from the face, scalp or body. In some cases if we have reason to believe the lump is of medical concern instead of a harmless lipoma then we will provide expert medical advice and support by sending the lump of for testing.

Yes, this procedure is extremely safe and carried out by our UK trained Doctor. You will be under local anaesthetic so you will not feel any pain & be supported before, during and after your treatment by our medical experts

Is there an aftercare process for this treatment?
Following minor surgery it’s important to take care of yourself. The treated area can take up to two weeks to fully heal. During this time we recommend you rest and avoid strenuous activities or excessive exercise. You can however return to work if you work in an office job from as early as the next day after treatment. We will support you throughout your aftercare process ensuring the area has healed correctly.
