We're CQC Registered
A CQC registered clinic in the heart of Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.
We recently celebrated the news of becoming a CQC registered clinic, which we are so pleased about. This is a great achievement for us all here at Victoria House Clinic, and it means that all of the care and hard work we put in to providing an environment that is safe, clean and patient first has been recognised. Becoming a CQC registered clinic also means we are now authorised to carry out a range of new treatments. As part of our expansion plans we have just launched minor surgery. This is such an exciting time for us and we can't wait to help more people look and feel their best with a wide range of new procedures.
Our new minor surgery procedures cover a wide range of skin and health concerns as well as cosmetic procedures for both men and women. The majority of the procedures will be led by our medical director Dr George Filobbos, who is an esteemed Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon. When it comes to procedures specific to Men's Health such as vasectomy and circumcision, these will be carried out by our expert urologist doctor, Dr Hosam Serag. We have a team of medical experts onsite ready to help you with any concerns you might have. Our ethos here at Victoria House Clinic is to provide a service where the patient comes first. This means from your very first consultation you can expect support and expert medical advice & guidance to ensure you are making a decision that is right for you.
When it comes to making decisions regarding procedures and your health, it's always important to do your research and find a clinic that is both safe and regulated. You can find out more about our CQC registration on the official Care Quality Commission website.
What does CQC registration mean?
CQC stands for the Care Quality Commission, who are an independent body that regulate health and social care throughout the UK. They will assess and audit health/care providers including clinics, hospitals and care homes etc. They inspect providers to ensure that the highest levels of care, compassion and safety are being adhered to. To be registered by the commission means that we have been recognised for our service and commitment to safety and patient welfare.
Why is this important?
If you have decided to have a treatment or procedure done one of the most important parts of the process is the research stage. Here is where you should be looking for clinics that are CQC registered and authorised to carry out specific procedures. This will help provide you with peace of mind that the clinic is safe, clean, well regulated and compassionate towards patients. You should then consider other factors such as the credentials of the surgeon, here at Victoria House Clinic we pride ourselves on working with the very best. All of our doctors are UK trained, GMC registered and members of BAAPS. These are all credentials that are massively important when finding the right doctor for you.
We're really looking forward to all of the expansion plans we have to come here at Victoria House Clinic and we can't wait to meet more of you and help you with any skin, health or cosmetic concerns you might have. If you've been considering a treatment, or would like to find out more about our minor surgical procedures then please do get in touch, our friendly team will be more than happy to help answer any questions & talk you through available treatments.
