Liposuction Procedure
Liposuction is a surgical procedure whereby the surgeon will make a small incision into the targeted area using a surgical blade. The surgeon will then look to insert a cannula which will work as a vacuum to extract any of the excess, unwanted fat. Once the excess fat is removed from the area the doctor will close the stitches.
This procedure is done under sedation, on a day basis and typically takes a couple of hours to complete. Following the surgery you will be taken into our onsite recovery room where you will be monitored by our Nurse and allowed to rest before being free to go home on the same day.
Is liposuction a safe procedure?
There are risks associated with all cosmetic procedures and these will be outlined to you thoroughly during your consultation. We do take the safety of our patients and staff extremely importantly here at Victoria House Clinic and our registration with the CQC confirms this is a safe environment and we are authorised to carry out the procedures we offer.
