Nipple Reduction
Nipple Reduction Surgery
Nipple reduction is a minor surgical procedure designed to help reduce the size of enlarged or overly protruding nipples. Here at Victoria House Clinic we help treat both men & women. The cause of enlarged nipples can come from a variety of reasons including weight gain, pregnancy, breast feeding and for men a condition called Gynecomastia.
Why get your nipple size reduced?
There are a number of reasons as to why someone might want to have nipple reduction surgery. We've outlined a few of those reasons below:
- You are unhappy with the appearance
- You feel uncomfortable doing activities like swimming etc.
- Your nipples show through clothing & underwear
- You are self-conscious and have lost confidence
Your nipple reduction procedure will be carried out in our CQC registered clinic by our Medical Director; Dr George Filobbos who is an esteemed Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon.
Nipple Reduction Surgical Procedure
Nipple reduction is a non-invasive, minor surgical procedure. During the procedure a small incision will be made around the bottom of the nipple, before removing any excess tissue and pulling the nipple tighter towards the breast or chest area.
This procedure is done under local anaesthetic and typically takes around an hour to complete. Following the procedure you will be taken into our onsite recovery room where you will be monitored and allowed to rest before being free to go home on the same day.
Is nipple reduction a safe treatment?
Yes, this treatment is extremely safe and carried out by our Medical Director. We have a team of trained medical experts on site here in our CQC registered clinic to ensure your safety before, during and after treatment.
