Excision Removal
The method we use for the removal of skin cysts is excision. This method is commonly used to remove skin cysts from different areas of the body. During the process the Dr will make an incision over the cyst and it is removed from under the skin. This method prevents the cyst from regrowing and you will be left with a small scar following the procedure.
There are many areas on the body in which a skin cyst might appear. We can help remove skin cysts from the face, scalp or body. If your skin cyst has become red or inflamed we can help recommend treatment for a potential infection before removal.

Is there an aftercare process for this treatment?
Following minor surgery it’s important to take care of yourself. The treated area can take up to two weeks to fully heal. During this time we recommend you rest and avoid strenuous activities or excessive exercise. You can however return to work if you work in an office job from as early as the next day after treatment. We will support you throughout your aftercare process ensuring the area has healed correctly.
