Breast Augmentation & Uplift
Breast Augmentation & Uplift Surgery
Breast augmentation & uplift also known as Augmentation Mastopexy is a combined cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the look and size of natural breasts. A breast uplift typically includes changing both the contour and elevation of the breasts for those that are unhappy with how they naturally hang. This can be combined with a breast augmentation surgery where implants will be added to natural breasts to increase size, volume and appearance.
Why get this surgery?
There are a number of reasons as to why a woman might be considering a breast uplift & augmentation, here are a few of the most common reasons:

- Your natural breasts hang low and appear to sag
- Factors incl. ageing, weight loss/gain or breastfeeding have impacted the look of your breasts
Whatever your reasons are for considering a breast uplift and augmentation, we're here to help. Your breast surgery will be carried out in our CQC registered clinic by our Medical Director; Dr George Filobbos who is an esteemed Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon.
Breast Uplift & Augmentation Surgical Procedure
Breast augmentation & uplift is a cosmetic procedure that typically involves the surgeon making an incision beneath the breast, before creating a pocket for the implant to be placed into, which will either be under the chest muscle or behind the breast tissue. Alongside this the surgeon will reshape the contour of the breast, removing ant excess tissue & reposition the nipple.
This procedure is done under sedation, on a day basis and typically takes a couple of hours to complete. Following the surgery you will be taken into our onsite recovery room where you will be monitored by our Nurse and allowed to rest before being free to go home on the same day.
Is a breast uplift & augmentation a safe procedure?
There are risks associated with all cosmetic procedures and these will be outlined to you thoroughly during your consultation. We do take the safety of our patients and staff extremely importantly here at Victoria House Clinic and our registration with the CQC confirms this is a safe environment and we are authorised to carry out the procedures we offer.
