Thigh Lift / Reduction
What is a thigh lift?
A thigh lift/reduction is a cosmetic surgical procedure with the aim to lift and tighten the thigh area, creating a more contoured, slim appearance. It mainly addresses loose, sagging skin around the thigh area.
Why get a thigh lift?
There are a number of reasons as to why someone might want to have a thigh lift, here are a few of the most common reasons:
- The skin around your thighs is loose & sagging
- Your thigh area has dramatically changed
- Diet & exercise can't help tighten the skin
- You've lost body confidence
Whatever your reasons are for choosing to have a thigh lift we will be here to support you through every stage. Your thigh lift will be carried out in our CQC registered clinic by our Medical Director; Dr George Filobbos who is an esteemed Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon.
Thigh Lift Procedure
A thigh lift is a surgical procedure which will see the surgeon make an incision into the thigh area using a surgical blade before removing excess fat and skin. The skin is then tightened to create a more smooth, firm look. The surgeon will then proceed to restitch the incision area.
This procedure is done under sedation, on a day basis and typically takes a couple of hours to complete. Following the surgery you will be taken into our onsite recovery room where you will be monitored by our Nurse and allowed to rest before being free to go home on the same day.
Is a thigh lift a safe procedure?
There are risks associated with all cosmetic procedures and these will be outlined to you thoroughly during your consultation. We do take the safety of our patients and staff extremely importantly here at Victoria House Clinic and our registration with the CQC confirms this is a safe environment and we are authorised to carry out the procedures we offer.
