Our laser treatments
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal targets the pigment in the hair follicle and the energy from the laser heats up the melanin in the hair shaft. The heat then diffuses from the shaft to the bulb and bulge of the hair follicle. At our Birmingham clinic, we exclusively utilise the Candela GentleMax Pro system for laser hair removal. The GentleMax Pro is a medical grade laser from the worlds leading medical aesthetics brand.
Laser Tattoo Removal
We have invested in the Candela PicoWay system which is the leading tattoo removal device with more tools to address even the most difficult to remove tattoo colours. The PicoWay system targets and shatters ink into minuscule particles under the skin, it clears colours including black, brown, blue, green, purple, red, yellow, and orange.
SMP Removal
SMP is a treatment whereby the appearance of hair is created in people with baldness or thinning hair. Scalp micropigmentation can be almost completely removed in just one laser session with Candela Picoway. A second session may be needed to complete the process. The PicoWay system targets and shatters ink into minuscule particles under the skin.
Brow Tattoo Removal
Microblading is a tattoo treatment whereby pigment is scratched onto the skin to create fine hair strokes in the brow. A semi-permanent makeup technique that unfortunately can sometimes leave people with results they are unhappy with. Following a skin patch test the brow tattoo will be removed using laser technology with the Candela Picoway.

Those undergoing tattoo removal are likely to experience some pain and discomfort with treatment, for this reason we recommend a topical anaesthetic cream.
Yes, our PicoWay laser ensures you have little to no downtime after treatments. Most people are able to return to their normal activities soon after treatment. We will always recommend a bandage to keep the treatment area dry for a few days following tattoo removal.
PicoWay is a high powered laser with ultra short pulses that shatter tattoo ink, but leaves the outer layer of the skin intact. PicoWay treats a wide range of tattoo colours across a broad range of skin types. Over a series of brief treatments, PicoWay can eliminate most tattoos.

There’s no downtime required. You may experience a small amount of redness, swelling or bruising at the injection site, but this usually fades quickly. Most clients return to work or normal activities straight after treatment.
